The API and MCP surface lets your own software, or an AI agent you use, drive Aiter directly. Thirty-two tools behind one endpoint, spending your normal credit balance.

It is on the Advance plan and above, and it is in beta.

    Creating a key

Keys are managed under API & MCP in your account menu. Name a key for where it will live, because in three months "Cursor on laptop" will be more useful than "key 2".

The full key is shown exactly once. It is hashed the moment the dialog closes, and it genuinely cannot be recovered afterwards. Copy it somewhere safe before you close the window.

You can set an expiry or leave a key open-ended, and there is a limit on how many live keys you can hold at once, so revoke the ones you have stopped using.

    Wiring it up

The endpoint uses streamable HTTP transport. Point your MCP client at the URL shown on the page and pass the key as a bearer token. The page carries setup examples for common clients, so the fastest route is to copy the example and replace the placeholder with your key.

    What it is good for

Your own automations. Generating campaign assets as part of a workflow you already run.

Agent workflows. An assistant that can research a prospect, build a campaign and pull the copy out without you switching windows.

Bulk work. Anything where doing it once in the interface is fine and doing it forty times is not.

Things worth knowing before you build on it

Credits are the same credits. An agent in a loop can spend a month's allowance quickly, and it does not get tired. Put a ceiling on anything automated.

Revoking is immediate. Anything using a revoked key stops working at once, with no grace period, which is the behaviour you want from a revoke button and worth remembering before you click it.

It is beta. Expect the tool set to change as it develops.

    Frequently asked questions

    Which plan do I need?

API access is available on Advance and above. If your plan changes, an existing key stops working, with a short warning period shown on the page beforehand.

    Can I recover a key I lost?

No. Keys are hashed on creation and cannot be shown again. Revoke the lost one and create a new key.

    Does API usage cost extra?

No, it spends your existing credit balance at the normal rates.
